Titanfall 2 PC specs revealed, watch the new trailer
Do you think your PC is ready for Titanfall 2, coming up next month? Check out the newly revealed system requirements and in the meantime watch the new gameplay trailer.
Respawn Entertainment has shared specific details on Titanfall 2 PC video options and the system requirements: minimum, recommended, and ultra – the latter for a smooth 60 FPS 4K experience, and yes, you really need a monster for that. The team will soon release some 4K gameplay videos captured at NVIDIA. For now we can enjoy a new trailer with some tasty bits of fast-paced vertical gameplay, featuring new weapons, moves and kills that will make their way into Titanfall 2:
You can find the PC specs listed below. Also, read the fragments of the official note from Respawn Entertainment explaining what to expect at each hardware level:
Minimum system requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i3-3600t or equivalent
- RAM: 8 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
- DirectX: 11
- Disk space: 45 GB
- Internet connection: 512 Kbps or faster
- OS: Windows 7, 8, 10 64-bit
”Our goal for minimum PC specs on Titanfall 2 is that you can play at a 1600x900 resolution with most details turned on and average around 60fps. (…) Because of this you will probably be able to actually run the game on a lower-than-minimum spec PC, but the quality and performance won’t quite be ideal.”
Recommended system requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 or equivalent
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB
- DirectX: 11
- Disk space: 45 GB
- Internet connection: 512 Kbps or faster
- OS: Windows 7, 8, 10 64-bit
”For recommended PC specs we're aiming for details nearly maxed out, 1920x1080 resolution (2560x1440 is also very playable), and again an average of 60fps or higher.”
Ultra 4K/60 FPS
- Processor: Intel Core i7-6700k or equivalent
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 8G
- DirectX: 11
- Disk space: 45 GB
- Internet connection: 512 Kbps or faster
- OS: Windows 7, 8, 10 64-bit
”The Ultra 4K60 requirements are what you'll need if you want to achieve 60fps while playing the game at a whopping 3840x2160 (aka “4K”) resolution and average around 60fps”
Titanfall 2 is coming out next month, on October 28. You will be able to play the game on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
