This is exactly when Destiny 2 beta starts
Are you going to participate in Destiny 2 open beta? Check out when exactly you can start playing on your platform of choice.
Activision announced the start times for Destiny 2 open beta across all three platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (thanks, VG247). The general access on consoles is scheduled for July 21, but those who pre-ordered the game can begin playing a couple of days earlier (depending on the platform). The PC beta is coming later in August, but that date is yet to be confirmed. Check out the list below to learn about details:
Destiny 2 beta – PS4 start times
- Pre-order early access: 10:00 A.M. PT July 18
- General access: 10:00 A.M. PT July 21
Destiny 2 beta – Xbox One start times
- Pre-order early access: 10:00 A.M. PT July 19
- General access: 10:00 A.M. PT July 21
Destiny 2 beta – PC
- Pre-order early access: late August [TBC]
- General access: late August [TBC]
According to Bungie, Destiny 2 beta will feature the Homecoming mission, showed in the gameplay reveal trailer, as well as Inverted Spire Strike and some unspecified PvP content. While the exact hours may vary across platforms, the console beta will end on January 23.
The sequel to Bungie’s successful take on an MMO shooter is going to release on September 6, 2017 for consoles. As for the PC edition, this one is coming out a bit later, on October 6.
