L.A. Noire remaster rumored to feature FPP mode and VR support
L.A. Noire remaster is taking shape, as new rumors sprout up. These ones claim that the re-edition of Rockstar's detective game will feature FPP mode and VR support.
A rumor has it that Rockstar’s detective/action adventure game L.A. Noire could be getting a remaster. According to WWG editor Liam Robertson (who has a record of sharing accurate industry leaks, including the existence of Mario Rabbids crossover, as PC Gamer notes), the re-edition will feature a first person mode similar to the one implemented in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V. Besides, it could also get VR support for the PS4 version. WWG also claims that the info comes from three independent sources close to Rockstar.
This isn’t the first time L.A. Noire remaster is rumored about. Back in January a noted Rockstar insider Yan2295 tweeted that the game was in works for Nintendo Switch. Soon afterwards another tipster, Direct Feed Games, supported the news, adding that the remaster was also coming for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in late summer. Although not mentioned in the reports, a PC version is quite likely too, due to the fact that the system’s similarities to current gen consoles as well as the good sales of the original version on PC.
