Over 50 Mods, 8K and The Witcher 3 - That's How to Squeeze Everything Out of a Game

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can still amaze. Installing 50 mods and firing up the game in 8K on an RTX 3090 causes the player's jaw to drop.

YouTube user Digital Dreams returns with his project. He fired up CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 8K on maximum settings and after applying more than 50 mods.

The Internet user shared an extensive list of mods (he provided predefined settings for Immersive Lighting 2.0 to his patrons). We can find here, among others, Community Base Patch, Ultimate Clouds 4K, HD Reworked Project (which may appear in the re-released on PS5 and XSX/S), E3 Flares, Geralt Skin Enhanced, HDMR, Absolute Camera or Novigrad Reloaded. Also a lot of packs improving textures and quality of in-game models.

Unfortunately, Digital Dreams did not boast his visuals settings and average fps achieved by such modified version of The Witcher 3. However, judging by the video below, 60 fps is achievable at such a high resolution on a PC equipped with a GeForce RTX 3090.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this year, offering improved visuals and, most importantly, ray-tracing support.

He hasn't yet written a text that he would be 100% satisfied with. He started his adventure with games at the age of 3, when he managed to convince his father to buy a C64 computer. The love for electronic entertainment awakened by Flimbo's Quest blossomed during the first adventures with Heroes of Might & Magic, reaching its peak after purchasing the first PlayStation. As he grew older, he had more encounters with Nintendo portable consoles, and also returned to the PC as an additional gaming platform. He collects games and is a fan of emulation.
