The Witcher 3 has received a new small add-on. Fan-made Song of the Wind lets you dive into a new adventure with Geralt
The first fruits of the competition for a new adventure for The Witcher 3 have already begun to appear. Among them is the a cool mod called Song of Wind, in which Geralt travels to a mysterious island.
In May this year, the powerful REDKit modding tools for The Witcher 3 were made available, and one of their biggest advantages is that they allow you to create new adventures. To encourage players CD Projekt RED studio has organized a contest for the best mods of this type. Submissions will be accepted until October 14 of this year, and the projects prepared with this in mind have finally begun to appear on the NexusMods site. The largest of these so far is Song of Wind, which was created by RoiJean.
In the mod we go to a mysterious island to complete quest. The mod offers two missions and a pretty elaborate storyline. The author even took care of voice lines for Geralt and other characters. CD Projekt RED forbids the use of AI tools to fake the voices of the game's actors, so RoiJean created new sentences by cutting existing dialogues into pieces and combining them into new utterances.

You will start the adventure in the port of Novigrad. The mod is designed for the character of 50 level. The project only two quests, as the rules of the competition stipulate that modifications are to consist of 2-3 combined quests. However, RoiJean is likely expand this project with additional content in the future.
The deadline for accepting entries to the contest will be soon, so we can expect new adventures developed for it to appear frequently in the coming days. Asside from Song of Wind, also check out Wine and Dine, which is an additional epilogue to Geralt and Yennefer's story in Toussaint, can already be downloaded.
Submissions to the contest will be accepted until October 14/ Submitted projects will first be judged by people from CD Projekt RED and Yigsoft. They will then prepare a list of finalists and a public vote will be held, in which the community will choose the winners.
