The Sims 4 Discover University - Leak Confirms the Expansion
Thanks to a leak from Microsoft Store we know for sure that this year will see the release of The Sims 4: Discover University. We also got to know its contents.
At the beginning of the month there were rumors that the next add-on to The Sims 4 would be Discover University. The expansion has not yet been officially announced, but the latest reports show that it is only a matter of time.
The source of the leak is the US version of Microsoft Store, where a profile for The Sims 4: Discover University on Xbox One was published too early. The release date is set for December 17, this year, but the console versions of the expansions to this game are always delayed in relation to the PC releases. Judging by the earlier productions, we can expect that the DLC will hit the PC on November 15.
In the game's profile on Microsoft Store there is also a description of the add-on. With The Sims 4: Discover University our sims will start their education either at the old Britechester University or at a modern university known as the Foxbury Institute. The characters will be able to attend classes in pedagogy, engineering, computer science, biology and law. There'll even be a course for villains.
Players will not be forced to attend classes, but it will affect our character's educational achievements. Between the lectures sims will go to the campus, spend time in the library and in the communal recreation area or visit the town of Britechester by bike.
It will also be possible to cheer on university teams during sports competitions and to take part in learning sessions with other students. We will spend our free time with friends playing ping-pong and partying with our roommates or joining university clubs.
The Sims 4: Discover University will also enable us to decorate sim rooms in dormitories with a hefty set of new items. There will also be additional clothes.
The Sims 4 debuted on PC in 2014. Console players had to wait a long time for their versions, as it wasn't until 2017 that the game hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
