The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 Could Launch in November 2022
New information about the progress of work on the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is nowhere to be seen, but we have reasons to expect the game's release in November 2022.
A podcast appeared on IGN's channel, in which the website's editors shared their thoughts on games for Switch. Among the participants was IGN boss Peer Schneider, who suggested that a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could be coming next November and its release will not be delayed.
Schneider said that after this year's The Game Awards, he managed to talk to several people from the game industry. As we know, the new Zelda was not presented during the event, but the head of IGN claims that the game is not experiencing any trouble:
"It looks like next year is going to be pretty good for Nintendo. That's why I wouldn't take the lack of big announcements [at TGA] as a sign that maybe Breath of the Wild 2 is delayed or that the company doesn't have some other stuff, because it seems like... the people at Nintendo are very excited about the 2022.
[...] that will probably change next November when we will be able to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 [...]."

Will the game actually hit the market in November? That remains to be seen, although such option seems quite likely. Officially, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is announced for 2022 - such information was provided by Nintendo in June, on the occasion of E3 2021. And let's hope it remains so.
