Still no Info on Factions in The Last of Us 2; Fans are Frustrated
Yesterday was the official fan holiday for The Last of Us, but Naughty Dog didn't share any new information about upcoming projects.
Most fans of The Last of Us series are impatiently waiting for September 26 - the day that marks the annual holiday for fans of the brand. Usually Naughty Dog, the studio responsible for the game, prepares some nice surprises for the players - often it's new merch or news about work on the game. However, this year many fans are disappointed, because the developers have not shared any specific information related to the new version of the network mode called Factions. The entry posted by the devs reveals, however, that the studio is still working on some form of multiplayer mode associated with The Last of Us.
Studio's representative explained that the development team needs time to create an ambitious project, and fans will receive more information when the game is at a proper stage of development. The developer also encouraged people to consider working for the studio - currently the company is looking for many people to support the development of the multiplayer production.
This means that the studio is definitely preparing a game or a network mode set in the world of The Last of Us. However, it has been more than a year since the release of the second part - how long will the creators make their fans wait? Let's hope that soon we'll get to know the first details. The waiting time may be sweetened by new news about the HBO series, the work on which is in full swing.
