Acclaimed RPG Dredge received its second big DLC: The Iron Rig. Black Salt Games studio has released a new expansion on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

You can watch the premiere trailer below.

At the moment, there aren't many reviews for The Iron Rig on Steam, but the opinions are positive. Players agree that the second expansion was much better than The Pale Reach.

Just after the premiere of the expansion to Dredge, almost 3,500 Steam users were playing the game at the same time (via SteamDB).

The title also made it to the Steam bestseller list and even reached 18th place (at the time of publishing this news). Of course, this isn't only due to the DLC – until August 22, the game can be purchased with a 35% discount for $16.24. This sale has been in effect before, but it remains the most affordable deal for Dredge in Steam's history.

The Iron Rig introduces a lot of new features to the game, including new fish, equipment, and achievements to earn, but the main attraction is the titular iron structure that we must help expand. However, apart from that, Dredge received a major update with free new features for all players.

Most of the updates include various improvements, such as increased storage capacity and map marker limits, as well as bug fixes. You can find the full list in the announcement from the developers published on Steam.
