Dredge Update 1.3.0 Lets You Catch Mutant Crabs

New Zealand-based studio Black Salt has released update number 1.3.0 for Dredge, an exquisite fishing RPG with eldritch horror elements. The patch introduces quite a few changes.

1. Boat customization has finally appeared in the game. After acquiring a crane as part of the game's main story line, a new character, the Painter, appears in Little Marrow, thanks to which we can customize the appearance of our boat. To begin with, we have only a few basic options at our disposal, but in the course of the game we will discover new paint ingredients and flag patterns.
2. New monsters in the form of mutated crabs have been added. An additional filter has also appeared in the encyclopedia, enabling us to display information about them.
3. A number of new mysterious wrecks have appeared in various parts of the game world.
4. The equipment screen has been expanded to include previously hidden stats for monster fishing bonuses.
5. Some values for fishing rods have been slightly increased.
6. The crab traps have been rebalanced somewhat. They now all offer some monster catching bonus, and higher levels and special versions of them provide bigger bonuses.
7. The developers have also fixed some annoying bugs, such as a problem with saving the game, which in rare cases took too long.

Dredge was released on March 30, this year. The game debuted simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
