The second major update to Dredge, a fishing RPG with horror elements by New Zealand studio Black Salt Games.
The most important changes are:
- the patch introduced Photo Mode - can be unlocked after helping a new character, the Photographer, who can be found in a previously inaccessible camp on an island south of The Marrows;
- Passive Mode has been added - in it, we don't have to fear the creatures of the deep and can engage in peaceful fishing;
- 10 new so-called Aberrations, or monsters from the deep, have been prepared;
- 8 new types of wild animals that you can encounter have been added, including one that is not afraid of shallow waters;
- new visual settings have been made available, including v-sync or the ability to change the sensitivity of the scope;
- a camera tracking configuration option has been introduced - you can now disconnect the camera from the boat's turning orientation; this means that when the boat turns, the camera does not rotate automatically;
- several bugs have also been fixed.
Recall that Dredge was released on March 30, this year. The game debuted simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. It is worth mentioning that the game is currently discounted by 20% as part of the Steam Summer Sale.
