Embark Studios has launched the second phase of closed beta testing of The Finals. One of the main elements that sets it apart from other games in the genre is the impressive destructibility of the environment.
Embark Studios launched the second phase of closed beta testing for The Finals, the online team-based shooter from Battlefield veterans, whose main attraction is impressive environmental destruction.
- The tests are taking place on PC. Those interested can join them on Steam.
- The previous closed beta took place in March. A number of improvements have been made in the new test version, based mainly on player feedback. These include performance, weapon behavior and movement mechanics, among others.
- Along with these improvements, more content has also been added to the game, including additional weapons for all character classes, previously unknown cosmetic items and skins, and a new progression system that enables the players to unlock various items as they play.
- A new, rookie-friendly mode called Quick Cash has also been implemented.. It offers 3v3v3 gameplay and features longer matches, faster respawns and the ability to open only one chest at a time.
Beta testing of The Finals is taking place exclusively on PC, but the full version will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The release date has not yet been revealed, but rumors suggest that the game will be released later this year.
