The Division 2 PC Wonderfully Optimized
The beta-tests of The Division 2 are underway. As it turns out, the game can run in 30 fps even on a laptop equipped only with an Intel HD 630 integrated GPU.
If you thought that with an integrated graphics card you con forget about playing relatively new AAA titles, then Ubisoft comes to your aid. On the Intel HD Graphics channel on YouTube there is a video where we can see a battle in the beta of The Division 2. The Intel HD Graphics 630 card was used for the test. The game retained a healthy 30 frames per second. Yes, there were occasional drops to 27 FPS, but in closed locations the framerate accelerated to over 40 FPS.
Of course, we must note that the above results were achieved with the lowest possible graphic settings and a resolution of 1280 x 720. The tests used Intel Core i5 7500 3.4 GHz processor and 16 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM. The Division 2 running on Intel HD Graphics 630 card can be seen below.
The Intel HD Graphics channel specializes in testing the latest (mainly high-budget) titles on integrated GPUs from Intel. As a result, we were also able to locate a performance test of the first Division. The test was performed a year ago on the same hardware as the second installment. The results are surprising because it seems that The Division 2 has been better optimized than its predecessor. The difference is a few frames per second, but it is noticeable. You can see it for yourself.
The Division 2 is in the closed beta phase. The title will debut on March 15 on PC (Uplay and Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
