Luck Comes to The Division 2; Big Malfunction Fixed
After weeks of failures, Ubisoft Massive has finally fixed the update system in The Division 2, enabling the developers to release Season 11 patch.
Online shooter Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has finally received the Season 11 patch. In doing so, a glitch that prevented the developers from updating the game for the past few weeks has been fixed.
- In early February, while trying to fix the game's localization, the developers messed up the update system so badly that they lost the ability to release further patches.
- Because of this, the developers had to delay the launch of Season 11 and deal with fixing the update system.
- Now all these problems have finally been fixed and the developers were able to resume development of the game.
What's new in Season 11?
Season 11 is titled Reign of Fire and enriches the game with five additional targets for players to eliminate. There are also new sets of equipment, weapons and cosmetic objects.
The developers have also introduced improvements to four PvP modes, and gameplay will be enhanced by various events with rewards and four leagues, within which we will reach new levels in various activities. To enjoy Season 11, you must own the Warlords of New York DLC.
Further development of The Division 2 is of crucial importance for fans of the series, as according to recent reports Ubisoft has no plans for a third installment. Spin-offs are in development in the form of Tom Clancy's The Division: Heartland and the mobile Tom Clancy's The Division: Resurgence, but these are items with much less ambition than the main installments.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 debuted in March 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version was initially only available on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store, but in January this year the game finally made its way to Steam.
