What's Up With The Division 3? Leaks Are Not Looking Good
The Division series was supposed to be developed like Assassin's Creed, but this will not necessarily translate into the creation of Tom Clancy's The Division 3.
Tom Clancy's The Division was supposed to be one of the series that a few months ago Ubisoft wanted to develop along the lines of Assassin's Creed. However, at the time the company did not mention anything about the next major installment of the series. That's for a simple reason: Ubisoft reportedly has no plans related to The Division 3.
Such information was received by Insider Gaming from sources affiliated with the French publisher. The editors didn't write much, but said that the title is not yet "in development," so - as we understand it - concept work hasn't even begun, despite the passage of almost four years since the release of the second game.
So it looks like, for now, Ubisoft is limiting the brand's expansion plans to the creation of a feature film and the release of two free spin-offs: The Division: Heartland for household platforms and the mobile The Division: Resurgence... assuming that neither of them will be canceled, as happened recently with the publisher's other projects.
Fans can only return to The Division 2 and hope that the future will bring better news on the continuation of or at least the 11th season, which did not start on time due to problems with an update. The developers have already managed to put fixes on the servers, but we are still waiting to hear about the release of the update.
Recall that a month ago the second The Division finally hit Steam, although the release was not accompanied by an explosion of enthusiasm among the platform's users.
