Teamfight Tactics Open Beta Launches
Today marks the release of an open beta for the new League of Legends game mode.
According to official information the launch of the new mode is due to take place on June 26 in the afternoon
For some time now Teamfight Tactics (a League of Legends mode based on the popular Dota Auto Chess mod) has been conquering LoL's test server. Its popularity causes huge queues and logging errors. Today (i.e. June 26) this mode will be available for everyone in the basic client of the game. The devs are afraid that this would cause great interest among players and could cause problems for servers and will release the game on a deliberate timeline. The fears of Riot Games shouldn't surprise anyone. In just 24 hours since its launch on the test server, Teamfight Tactics has become the most popular position on Twitch. To this day, it still beats its main competitor, Dota Underlords, in terms of sheer number of viewers.
Teamfight Tacticsis a turn-based strategy game in which we face seven opponents. Our goal is to create the strongest possible team from the available characters and keep it alive as long as possible. It is worth remembering that for the time being the new game mode will be in the phase of open beta-tests. Creators ask for information about any bugs that appear in the game.
Also planned is a ranking mode, which is to be released when the next patch arrives. But it won't be for another three weeks. In addition, the developers want to introduce new missions related to Teamfight Tactics, which should be available in a week's time.
