Take-Two Will Reveal a New IP This Month; It Could be XCOM in Marvel Universe
This month Take-Two Interactive will announce a new IP. Most likely, it will be a turn-based battle strategy game that will combine the mechanics of the XCOM series with the Marvel universe.
While presenting financial results for the past quarter, Take-Two Interactive also revealed some of its plans for the future. The publisher announced that this month it will reveal "an exciting new brand".
No details were revealed about this game other than that, that it will be released before March 31, 2022. It is possible that the project will be announced during Gamescom. This year's edition of the event will take place online - on August 25 it will be opened by Gamescom: Opening Night Live stream, which will be hosted by Geoff Keighley.
It is speculated that the new brand may be a turn-based battle game set in the Marvel comic book universe, which is being developed by Firaxis, the studio known from the XCOM series. Reports about the project appeared in June. Then the rumors also spoke about the upcoming spin-off to Borderlandswhich was finally revealed during E3 as Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
