Roger Clark - actor known from Red Dead Redemption 2 - praised facial animations in The Last of Us: Part II. Thanks to a response from one of the devs at Naughty Dog, we learned that the system developed by animator Keith Paciello plays an important role in the final effect. It allows for automatical adjusting of animations to the emotions felt by the characters.
