In Sword of Convallaria, Faycal is a high-damage, aggressive archer. His passive ability boosts his offense and defense, while his active skills often land critical hits, dealing massive damage to a single enemy. He can also apply random debuffs. We didn’t place him on the top on our tier list, but he’s still a great asset for the team. If you’re looking for other builds, check out our guides on Beryl, Col, Maitha, Edda, Alexei, Nergal, Samantha, Rawiyah, Iggy, Nungal, Dantalion, Momo, Gloria, Magnus, Garcia, and Inanna, and don’t forget to take a look on our Skill Tree of the Best Characters and redeem free codes before it’s too late!

Best Skills for Faycal Build in Sword of Convallaria

Looking for a character who can dish out massive damage from a distance? Faycal is your go-to ranged powerhouse. Here are his best skills that you should choose for each rank:

  1. RK1 – Attentiveness is a good passive skill that enables him to increase his critical attack for 1 turn if at the start of the turn there are no enemies within a 2-tile radius.
  2. RK3 – Precise Shot can deal a lot of damage and inflict a Dodge buff on himself.
  3. RK5 – Eye for an Eye is a reaction skill. When attacked from the front or side by enemies who are not on adjacent tiles, he counters with a powerful strike.
  4. RK7 – Alert Shot is a good choice. With this skill he can unleash a powerful attack on a 3x3 area in the chosen direction, dealing significant damage. It can be activated up to two times per round.
  5. RK9 – Fatal Attack (Basic Attack) can inflict Physical DMG and boost critical hit power.
  6. RK11 – Gale-billow Volley is a powerful skill. It Inflicts five random AoE attacks on enemies within two tiles, dealing significant damage. Subsequent hits on the same target deal reduced damage.

Remember, the ideal build depends on your preferred playstyle. While you can invest in multiple skills per rank using the premium currency Castalia, careful planning is crucial.

Best Tarot Whispers for Faycal in Sword of Convallaria

When it comes to Tarot Whispers you can gear him up with one of these epic or legendary cards:

  1. Temptation of The Devil – Defeating an enemy by him or any ally grants 1 stack of Devil buff, that increases Attack and Defense by 3% per stack, up to a maximum of 30%. This effect cannot be immunized or dispelled. Personally, I think this is the best choice for Faycal. It can stack up pretty quickly, so he can become a real beast in no time.
  2. Silence of The Hermit – Decreases DMG taken by 10%. Faycal is not a frontline warrior but is a good choice for almost every character.
  3. Dream of the Magician – It grants a base damage increase of 8%. When casting skills, for each additional hit on one enemy, the damage dealt increases by 4%, up to 12%. Again, a nice Tarot Whisper for every damage dealer.

Epic Tarot Whispers grants 3 additional random boosts, while legendary ones offer 4 of them.
