Acambe's true power comes from effectively combining his trait with his skills. While the Shadow Assassins he summons are useful in battle, they only provide supporting attacks and disappear after a set number of rounds. Additionally, his trait ability, Secret Signal, which allows all Assassins to unleash a powerful AoE attack, has a 5-turn cooldown, meaning it can typically be used just once or possibly twice per battle.

Here's the best skill set for this character:

  1. RK1 – Potential Burst is a support skill that can be cast on a single target, boosting their attack and defense while also dispelling all attribute debuffs and granting them immunity.
  2. RK3 – With Squander you can choose between two skills. Greed Leads to Ruin is an instant skill that lures both opponents and Shadow Assassins, applying movement and magical defense debuffs to them. With the enemies grouped together, you can follow up with an AoE attack for maximum impact. Rich Rewards restores one energy point to allies within a 3-tiles radius, reduces their Active Skill cooldown, and grants them multiple buffs.
  3. RK5 – Special Clauses is a reaction skill that can save Acambe in tough battles. When he's under attack and a Shadow Assassin ally is within a 3-tile radius, he can switch places with them, causing the Assassin to take the hit instead. This reaction can be used twice per round.
  4. RK7 – Burning Riches is a powerful AoE magical attack that also summons a Shadow Assassin. It can be used after casting Greed Leads to Ruin from the Squander skill. However, there's a downside—after using Burning Riches, Acambe receives the NRG Restored debuff, preventing energy restoration for 2 rounds.
  5. RK9 – The choice between Disarm Strike and Charged Attack is yours to make, as both are strong options.
  6. RK11 – Dark Ripple is an AoE magical attack that deals significant damage while also inflicting a debuff on all targets, disabling their passive and reaction skills for 2 turns.

Best Tarot Whispers for Acambe in Sword of Convallaria

When it comes to Tarot Whispers, choose one of these:

  1. Guidance of the World – Restores 1 energy point if Acambe doesn't use any active skills or ends his turn on Standby.
  2. Desire for Temperance – Grants Acambe a Physical Shield at the start of the battle that cannot be dispelled.
  3. Gibbous Moon – Restores 20% of Acambe’s health at the end of the turn if he is injured.
