Stellar Blade Action RPG’s PS5 Demo Surfaces Early. Although No Longer Available, We Received Extended Gameplay
Most likely due to a mistake, PlayStation 5 owners were able to get a premature look at the Stellar Blade game demo. Although the error was quickly fixed, a wealth of footage from the upcoming action RPG has hit the net. Beware of spoilers!
Spoilers ahead!
The rest of the text contains gameplay footage revealing the first stages of Stellar Blade. If you don't want to spoil the fun of exploring the full version of the title, we advise against watching it.
Stellar Blade is a game that has been exciting players around the world for several weeks now. The Sony console "exclusive" will hit the market on April 26, but some players had a chance to experience the early stages of the game already. How did it happen? Due to someone's mistake, a demo version of this action RPG was available for a short time in the PlayStation Store (in the United States and Canada).
Even though access to the demo was blocked relatively quickly (even for players who had managed to download it), gameplay footage began to appear on the Internet. So if you're curious about how Stellar Blade looks in action, below you will find two materials. It's up to you to decide if you want to spoil the upcoming adventure for yourself.
Thanks to the gameplays, we can take a closer look at the bloody and incredibly smooth fights - both with minor opponents and more demanding bosses. The game also delights us with high-quality voice acting and an atmospheric soundtrack. The materials don't lack exploration stages, resource gathering, and tutorial elements.
The demo version, which is over 16 GB in size, covers roughly the first hour of Stellar Blade, and players will be able to transfer their saved progress to the full version of the game, set to be released at the end of April, as indicated by the published videos. The accidental release of the demo undoubtedly means that sooner or later, players will get a taste of Eve's story.
Fashion show
It has been known for a long time that aesthetics are important to the developers of Stellar Blade. The director of this title - Hyung-Tae Kim - has repeatedly emphasized that the appearance of the main heroine is crucial to him. The developers will provide players with a wide range of options for customizing the protagonist's wardrobe, even though her body structure (modeled on the anatomy of South Korean model Shin Jae-eun) won't be customizable.
It turns out that the 30 outfits announced some time ago, which we will be able to dress Eve in, are just the beginning. During a conversation with Game Informer, Hyung-Tae Kim announced that the protagonist's wardrobe will expand significantly after the premiere. It's also important that none of the outfits will impact Eve's stats. Her costumes will therefore depend solely on the players' taste.
Finally, let us remind you that Stellar Blade will be released on April 26 on PS5. The game will also be released on PC at a later date.
