Zombies and Leshen are the Highlights of Steam's Bestseller List
Last week, Back 4 Blood and New World continued to be the best-selling games on Steam. On the other hand, Inscryption recorded a surprisingly good launch.
- Back 4 Blood and New World continue to rule on Steam;
- Successful debuts of Inscryption and Sword and Fairy 7;
- Continuing High sales of The Riftbreaker;
- High popularity of Football Manager 2022 and Forza Horizon 5 pre-orders.
As every Monday, the list of biggest Steam bestsellers of the previous week's (by revenue) was released. There were no changes at the top. Like on the previous list, the first place is taken by Back 4 Blood and with the MMORPG New World on the second.
New products can be found on lower positions. The top three is rounded off by the preorders of Football Manager 2022 and behind it - which is quite a surprise - comes Inscryption, which debuted on October 19. It's an independent production combining elements of adventure games and roguelikes, in which we play card games with a Leshen. The game is highly unusual, so its success is pleasing. In addition, it achieves impressive activity results - at the hottest moment of the last weekend 17,072 people played it at the same time.
The Riftbreaker, a game by Polish studio Exor, continues to sell extremely well. Last week the devs boasted that the game's sales on all platforms exceeded 200,000 copies.
In addition, Sword and Fairy 7, the latest installment of the popular RPG series from China, had a successful debut. Its recognizability in the West, however, is negligible. If you want to get to know its roots, it is worth checking out the first installment, which was made available for free by the devs a long time ago and has a fan-made English translation.
