Stardew Valley 1.6 - PC, Console, and Mobile Release Date. Dev Boasted Great Sales of the Game
The release date of Stardew Valley 1.6 has been officially revealed. The game's developer also announced the number of copies sold of this popular RPG.
The developer of the hit Stardew Valley shared fantastic news with us to mark today's 8th anniversary of the game's release. The game version 1.6 will launch on PC on March 19 and will come to consoles and mobile devices "as soon as possible."
Besides, we found out how many copies the title has sold. The person responsible for the game, Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, revealed that Stardew Valley has sold over 30 million copies.
Barone also mentioned that a global concert tour is currently ongoing, and soon a cookbook featuring recipes for the game's dishes will be available for purchase. The dev also didn't forget to thank the entire community.
We have already learned a little about the new features that Stardew Valley version 1.6 will provide us with. These include a big chest - capable of holding twice as many items as a regular chest - a new festival, and a multiplayer mode for eight players.
The game was first released in 2016 on mobile devices, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can also enjoy Stardew Valley through PC/Xbox Game Pass. On Steam alone, the title has received over 650,000 reviews, 98% of which are positive.
