The latest update to the space simulator Star Citizen - Alpha 3.9: Locked Up and Loaded - adds a prison to the game. Players can also get a new ship, complete another mission and enjoy a number of improvements related to i.e. the interface.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Alpha 3.9: Locked Up and Loaded version adds a prison, a new mission and another ship to Star Citizen;
- The developers have also made a number of improvements to increase the level of immersion and improve interface elements.
Cloud Imperium Games has released another update to space sim Star Citizen. Alpha 3.9: Locked Up and Loaded introduces, among other things, a prison (so-called Klescher Automated Prison) to the game. Players who get captured by security services or bounty hunters will be put behind bars and will have to work off their debt to society (or find a way to escape).
The update also includes a new vessel, the Esperia Prowler. This elegant and modern ship is based on the technology used during the so-called Tevarin Wars. Additionally, players have been given the opportunity to perform another mission - The Price of Freedom, in which we help criminals transported to prison (while trying to find the traitor who did them in).
A brand new landing site - the Babbage Landing Zone - has also been added to the game, as well as a number of changes that increase immersion. We are talking about a system thanks to which weather phenomena (e.g. snow storms) make walking and flying more difficult, as well as the mechanics of hunger and thirst (we have to eat and drink - earlier there was also a need to take care of the proper temperature of the character's body).
The patch also includes a number of interface improvements - for example, a unified friends list and improvements in the weapons modification system.
