STALKER 2 with major 1.2 update. There are a bunch of improvements, covering almost every aspect, including controversial A-Life system
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has just received a massive 1.2 update. The fixes and improvements cover almost every aspect of the game, including the controversial A-Life system.

After a series of small patches, GSC Game World studio has released another major update for the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, matching the scale of the one from last year. Patch 1.2 introduces over 1,700 fixes and improvements, addressing nearly every aspect of the game, from performance and balance to quests and the A-Life system.
STALKER 2 - changes in version 1.2
The update improves the rather controversial A-Life 2.0 system, increasing the realism of NPC behaviors. Independent characters will now be more adept at decision-making during combat and respond more naturally to the player's actions (as well as select their equipment more skillfully and shoot with better accuracy). Bugs related to NPC character detection were also fixed, and the stealth system was improved.
There were also changes in the behavior of mutants. Among other things, their navigation in the field has been improved. They will no longer be blocked by various obstacles during an attack and will better use their abilities. Moreover, a lot of gameplay balance adjustments have been made (it's now easier to get average-quality sets and harder to get the best ones). The rewards for some missions have also been improved and the ability to trade with additional characters in hubs has been introduced.
Patch 1.2 also includes a solid portion of fixes related to the performance and stability of STALKER 2. Bugs causing frame rate drops and sudden game crashes have been fixed, among other things. The functionality of the PDA and the pause screen has been enhanced, resulting in a smoother interface. Moreover, the way objects are loaded has been modified, which will allow our processor to "breathe" a bit.
Devs also addressed bugs in missions - both main and side ones - fixing over 300 issues related to their progress.
There were also improvements in the open world. Some locations have been enhanced, the placement of some anomalies and chests has been changed, and new visual effects have been introduced. The developers also improved the character animations, as well as fixed bugs related to some interactive objects, which previously caused bugs.
The above description is really just the tip of the iceberg. The list of changes in the 1.2 update is huge. I refer those interested to the developers' note on Steam.
