GSC Game World studio released a major update 1.3 for STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The developers have made more than 1,200 improvements.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: The Heart of Chornobyl has received an extensive 1.3 update. The developers introduced over 1200 changes and fixes to the gameplay, which have been present in the game since its release in November 2024.
It's worth mentioning that the devs have already started working on the next patch. Nonetheless, the release date remains undisclosed - the new roadmap might provide an estimated timeline for the patch.
STALKER 2 - patch 1.3 details

- The movement of mutants has become smoother.
- The reaction of NPCs to the sound of footsteps has been improved.
- The behavior of mutants in the trap was improved when the player is behind an object or on it.
- The bug that caused mutants not to attack other NPCs when the player was in a safe zone has been fixed.
- The damage dealt by explosive props has been increased.
- The error causing the artifact "Weird Flower" to initially be in a dried state instead of active after being picked up has been fixed.
- The overall durability of the unique weapon found during the mission has been increased.
- Many new death screens have been added, which vary depending on the cause of death.
- Missing locations have been introduced in tutorials.
- Added descriptions explaining the difference between anti-tank and expansive ammunition.
- The movement and shooting animations of NPCs have been updated and improved.
- The option to change the white weapon attack button has been introduced in the control settings.
User reviews on Valve's platform for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in the past 30 days are "mixed." Perhaps the updates from the above patch will encourage players to rate their adventures in the Zone more positively.
