Yesterday we reported about a rumor according to which the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be delayed. Today it turned out to be true. An entry appeared on the official Twitter account of the series, in which the creators inform that the game's release has indeed been postponed and it will go on sale on December 8, 2022.

As it turns out, however, not all the information contained in the rumor is confirmed. We did not receive any gameplay presentation, but only the official announcement from the creators. The new release date is also not quite right - STALKER 2 will be released at the beginning of winter instead of the middle of fall.

It's also unclear what about the PS5 version mentioned by OLDboi (the source of yesterday's leak). The developer's message does not address this issue.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available on the Xbox and PC Game Pass services from launch day.
