  1. The bug has been fixed where a key character could vanish from the Enerhetyk Palace of Culture during the Road to Foundation mission.
  2. A temporary solution has been added to avoid crashes during shader compilation by skipping the shader warm up function.
  3. Several errors causing the game to freeze, accompanied by the message "ACCESS VIOLATION ERROR," have been fixed.
  4. The bug that caused the option to invert the control axis to not be saved after restarting the game has been fixed.
  5. The bug has been fixed, as a result of which the time control stopped responding after taking a shot, reloading, and examining the artifact.

Moreover, the developers introduced a system for creating backup copies of saved game states. You will find the save files in the folder:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Backup

At the same time, GSC Game World announced that there is no point in expecting more patches this year. However, the devs are working on another update, which should be released at the beginning of 2025.
