Work on STALKER 2 Resumes
Work on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has resumed. The developers from GSC Game World revealed this information on their official Discord channel. By the way, they also mentioned the game's difficulty level.
Developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have announced on Discordthat the work on the game has been resumed. However, they did not give a new release date (before the war in Ukraine, which caused the interruption, it was set for December 8, 2022). It is possible that we will learn it during the upcoming Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, scheduled for June 12.
What's more, some time ago the devs also unlocked the remaining rooms on the official Discord channel of STALKER. Until now only one channel called "ask_gsc" was functioning. This confirms that the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World is starting to function again.
Difficulty level
It is worth mentioning, by the way, that the creators also answered the question about the difficulty level in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl:
"We will prepare enough difficulty settings so players can find the right level of challenge for them. There will be something even for real hardcore connoisseurs."
Launch and target platforms
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The title is expected to be available at launch in Game Pass subscription.
