Sony Shows Bloopers From From God of War Ragnarok to Celebrate Anniversary
Deformed faces, flying heroes and dancing Kratos. Sony, on the occasion of the anniversary of the release of God of War: Ragnarok, showed the funny mistakes that occurred during the game's development.
Creating a video game is a long process, during which developers must test, among other things, all mechanics or behaviors of characters controlled by artificial intelligence every step of the way. Otherwise, they risk countless errors, not infrequently overly bizarre. Santa Monica studio, responsible for the well-received God of War: Ragnarok, decided to show the fans funny bloopers from the development of the game.
You can watch the video released today, called Midgard Mishaps 2, below (rest assured, you don't have to worry about spoilers from the game). The previous part of this humorous series was released a few years ago, and it was about God of War from 2018.
The footage was released to celebrate the anniversary of the release of God of War: Ragnarok and presents fragments from the relatively late stage of the game's development. Great timing of the artificial intelligence makes up these most entertaining moments - screaming characters running onto the stage during serious cinematic cutscenes, the characters senselessly repeting sentences, and their comical behavior on the boat bring a smile to the face.
A great comeback comes with the dance section, proving that not only Kratos and Atreus are masters of the dance floor. Throw in some fun animations, visual bugs that change the appearance of the characters and the new ability acquired by the heroes, which is levitation, and fans can feel completely fulfilled on the anniversary day of the release of God of War: Ragnarok.
Moving away from bloopers at the end, it is worth mentioning that recently there were rumors suggesting the arrival of a standalone DLC for the latest production starring Kratos. It is also possible that, following the example of the previous installment, God of War: Ragnarok will come to PCs in the future. For now, the game is only available on PS4 and PS5.
