Arguably the biggest (though not necessarily the most polished) hit of the Steam Next festival has a release date. RPG Enshrouded is heading to Steam's Early Access, where it will debut on January 24, 2024.

In addition to the early access release date, Keen Games has released new gameplay footage. The short trailer of Enshrouded is available below.

By the way, in a post on Steam the developer confirmed plans to release Enshroued on consoles, which is expected to follow the game's debut on PC. No platforms or approximate release date were given.

Enshrouded was the most popular title among the games whose demos available as part of the recent Festival on Steam. Admittedly, the fun for players was somewhat spoiled by disastrous optimization (some of them were not even able to run the game), but still the demo made quite an impression on users of Valve's platform.

Let's hope that by next year Keen Games will have made significant progress in terms of performance, as the devs of Baldur's Gate III have recently succeeded in doing (although we are still waiting for the effects of this "breakthrough" in the next update).

Enshrouded is an open-world TPP survival RPG, telling the story of a cataclysm caused by our ancestors, which the player can stop. The title will be playable both solo and in co-op for up to 16 people.
