Sons of the Forest Update Introduces Guitar Playing, Diversifies World and Ads a Lot of Content
Update 05 for Sons of the Forest is now available. It introduced the ability to play the guitar, new foods and diversified the world.
Sons of the Forest is developing rapidly. Since its debut in early access, the game has received a ton of additional content, not to mention the removal of quite a number of bugs. The latest update, bearing the number 05, is now available and it adds a lot of content. There is something for cooking lovers, musically gifted people and, of course, players who have been waiting for more gameplay improvements.
Cooking, playing the guitar and much more
The latest update for SotF has introduced a lot of interesting content. From now on, the guitar no longer serves only as an offensive weapon, but can also be played. Interestingly, with some songs, the player character arranges his hands as he should do in real life, so you can see that the developers have made an effort here.
Recipes have also been added to the game, which certainly raises the imersion a bit. However, it turned out that this addition became the object of pranks from players, who caught a typo in one of the names of the dishes and noticed that a a certain dish is called... Greg, which is disturbing because it consists of four limbs and a head. As Salvador Dali said - "Beauty should be edible, or not at all."
Two types of wood sleds, a tree regrowth function, as many as 79 new bodies of water and 34 streams, or new commands that can be given to Kelvin have also been introduced.
As for the minor changes, a few selected ones are presented below:
- cannibals will occasionally test their strength and fight each other;
- two new videos have been added to be found;
- new clothes have been introduced;
- birds can steal caught fish;
- you can no longer drink lava - seriously;
- Kelvin will no longer pick up damaged radios;
- additional sound effects have been introduced.
