Sons of the Forest Now Scarier Than Ever Thanks to New Update.
Sons of the Forest launched in early access on Steam this February, and since then has already received thirteen major updates and quite a few minor hotfixes. The latest patch, like the previous ones, adds some content and fixes quite a few bugs. This time the focus is more on the horror aspect of the game.
Horrific update for Sons of the Forest
Patch 13. adds some new features that fans of the horror aspect of the game may have been waiting for. Among other things, it introduced a new, aggressive opponent or additional visual elements, intensifying the brutality of the game world. If you have fenced off the area with a wall, sharpened sticks and traps in hopes of listening to the noise of the trees in peace, I have bad news for you. After update 13 rhe mutant known as Twins can even jump out from under the ground, so give Virginia a shotgun and hope she stays near the camp.
Below are the more important changes introduced by patch 13 to Sons of the Forest.
- You can create walls from tarps.
- A new aggressive enemy has been added.
- Mutant "Twins" can now jump out from under the ground.
- New bloody cannibal trophy items have been added.
- Extensions and surprises related to some caves have been introduced.
- A round table can be created from now on.
- Added 3 new schemes, including one that enables you to construct an additional trap.
- The appearance of the bloody katana has been improved.
- Kelvin can now collect spears.
In addition to the aforementioned novelties, the developers presented a very long list of minor changes and fixes. The full list of new features introduced in Patch 13 can be found here.
We can expect the next update on November 10.
