Snyder's Justice League Will be Longer than The Irishman
The director of League of Justice claims that the final version of the film can last more than 214 minutes. Snyder also talked about the important role of Superman.
One of the hottest movie news of recent months was the information of the great return of Justice League. However, it's not about any sequel, but its director's cut version, which Zack Snyder was responsible for. We would like to remind that it was him who worked on the set of the original work, but was not able to participate in the post-production process due to his daughter's death. His duties were taken over by Joss Whedon, which made League of Justice appear in cinemas in a completely different version than expected.
Snyder regularly floods his fans with new news about the current edition of the film, claiming that they have only seen the tip of the iceberg. The creator finally got to the point and admitted that the refreshed Justice League will last 214 minutes (more than Martin Scorsese's The Irishman). However, he quickly reveled and did not rule out the possibility of even longer cut.
The director also admitted that he can finally make a work that is consistent with him and that his creative vision is not limited in any way. This is connected with free development of individual threads. Snyder mentioned, for example, the idea of Superman. Now we finally know why Cavill is so optimistic about the future in terms of continuing the role.
"I love the idea of Superman going on a journey with his character. I love the idea of Superman having to reconcile his morality. Reconcile his place on Earth and reconcile love affair with Lois. And how that affects the way he relates to humanity. [...] I think that when you see Superman grapple with those things, he becomes a lot more relatable."
Zack Snyder's Justice League will debut on HBO Max in 2021. It should be remembered that the movie is not being shot from scratch, but there are only significant changes on the editing level.
