Skate 4 is Coming to PC, Marking Brand's Debut on the Platform
Skate 4 will also come to PC. This will be the first installment of the skateboarding series by Electronic Arts to arrive on PC.
We have good news for fans of skateboarding games. Electronic Arts announced that the next installment of the Skate series will also be released on PC.
This news was revealed on the game's official Twitter account. What's interesting, PC is the first officially confirmed hardware platform for Skate 4. Of course, this is only a temporary situation, because it is certain that the game will also launch on consoles.
This will be the first installment of the series, which will hit the PC. Previous parts, namely Skate from 2007, Skate 2 (2009) and Skate 3 (2010) were released only on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The new incarnation of the franchise will therefore represent its debut on PC.
Skate 4 is awaited by many players. For a long time it seemed that Electronic Arts abandoned this brand. Therefore, last year's announcement of its return sparked a lot of enthusiasm. Unfortunately, so far the creators have not shown any footage from the game. This is not a special surprise, because during the disclosure of the project EA warned that it is at a very early stage of production.
In January this year it was announced that the game is being developed at the new Full Circle studio, set up specifically for this project. Last month, the creators assured that work is progressing at a good pace, but the devs are still not ready to show fragments of gameplay.
