Sifu is Expecting Its Final Update; Lots of Goodies Announced [Update]
The developers of last year's blockbuster Sifu have announced the release of the final update for the game. When can we expect it?
Update
Final update for Sifu is now available. The launch trailer (below) is a reminder of what new features have come with it to the game.
Original news (August 7)
As announced by the developers from Sloclap, the final content update for Sifu is on its way and we will help you enjoy the game starting September 7..
On that day, the PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S versions of the game will receive the update.. Only Switch users need to be more patient, as the patch will arrive on Nintendo's platform a little later.
Final update - content
What will the update contain? First of all players will receive six new arenas, where they will be able to take on 75 additional challenges. In addition, zombie-like enemies, new techniques and even cinematic outfits will be added to the game (although it is not specified here which specific movies are involved), which our character will be able to wear.
Recall that Sifu debuted on the market on February 8, 2022. The game initially hit PlayStation consoles and PC, and a few months later the offer was expanded by a version for Nintendo Switch. It is only since March of this year that the fighting game can be enjoyed by Xbox owners.
The word "enjoyed" is used here for a reason, as Sifu was very well received by both gamers and industry journalists. The former rated the game from 7.2/10 (for the PC version - the on Steam the percentage of positive reviews is 92%) to 8.1/10 (PS5 edition) on Metacritic. In turn, according to experts, the same port deserved an average of 79/100.
This makes it all the more sad that the development of the game will end soon. Let's hope, however, that Sloclap - also known for Absolver - will surprise us with some more interesting games in the future.
