Shadow Warrior 3 Joins the Ranks of Delayed; New Trailer Available
Shadow Warrior 3 is another game delayed until next year. Fortunately, the developers assure us that the delay will be small, and serve us, as a consolation, a juicy new trailer.
The season of delays continues. The "venerable" group of delayed titles already includes Elden Ring, Dying Light 2, and Scorn. Unfortunately, soon they will be joined by another long-awaited title, namely Shadow Warrior 3. Although the devs assured earlier that the game will be released this year, it is now certain that they will not be able to fulfill this promise. The studio's official Twitter account posted the following message:
"Dearly beloved fans,
To hit the quality level we've set for ourselves as a studio, together with Devolver Digital, we’ve decided to move the release date of Shadow Warrior 3 to early next year.
More deets about the release coming soon."
We'll probably have to wait a bit longer to draw the Nobitsura Kage sword once again and search for more fortune cookies. Specifically, we will probably have to wait until the first quarter of 2022. Shadow Warrior 3 will be released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 (it should also work on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 as part of backwards compatibility).
