Shadow Warrior 3's New Game Plus Adds Several More Hours of Fun
Flying Wild Hog has released an update for Shadow Warrior 3, adding a New Game Plus mode and more challenges with rewards.
New Game Plus is now available in Shadow Warrior 3, added in today's update. Patch 1.05 is now available on Steam and consoles and introduces new challenges tied to the NG+ mode. The reward for completing them are new skins for weapons.
The addition of the New Game Plus mode and other attractions is welcome in the case of any game, but it is especially important in the case of the new Shadow Warrior. At launch, the game was criticized primarily for the short time required to complete it, especially since it did not encourage too much to replay it.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first patch adding similar attractions to SW3. In April, update 1.03 appeared, and with it we received not only a lot of improvements to the game's balance, but also a new, hardcore difficulty.
Less than a month later Flying Wild Hog introduced heroic mode - modifier that additionally increases the level of challenge by limiting the number of player character's lives. In addition, players could finally load the selected chapter.
In addition to the New Game Plus mode and challenges, patch 1.05 also includes a lot of gameplay improvements. These include, among others, new interface options, better optimization and a lot of bug fixes. The full list of changes can be found in the announcement on Steam.
