Sea of Thieves Season 2 in Detail

The popular sandbox game by Rare is entering its second season. Sea of Thieves will add many rewards, new challenges and events in the game world.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • The second season has begun in Sea of Thieves;
  • The game has gained new challenges, trade routes and rewards;
  • During the season there will also be limited time events.

Next season in Sea of Thieves brings many changes that will diversify the gameplay. As many as 100 new levels of rewards await the players. We unlock them by increasing our reputation, which grows along with our actions. The creators guarantee many new activities so that collecting them isn't tedious.

Among the novelties there is another challenge of skeleton forts. Forts of Fortune appeared in the game, which are to pose an even greater threat to players wishing to earn a lot of money. However, the hosts of deadly opponents are meant to drop equally impressive loot to be gained if we manage to defeat them.

Players who prefer to avoid combat will be pleased with the changes to trade. Emissaries can now purchase special resources from merchants in the Merchant's Guild and then sell them at a profit in remote areas that need them. Regularly visiting these trade routes also comes with special rewards in the form of cosmetic items and weapons.

What's more, numerous time-limited events will appear in Sea of Thieves. Players will be able to find themselves in the middle of a conflict between trading companies or take part in the hunt for skeletons. Each of these activities will of course be connected with the appropriate reward. Players who get rich quickly will be able to use their fortune to purchase new items that have appeared in stores in the current season.
