Scrubs is a comedy TV series about doctors that, perhaps to the surprise of some people, is considered one of the most realistic in its category. There were many doctors on the set working as consultants to ensure that the production did not merely depict imaginings of these people's work, but reflected its reality as best as possible. And it must be said that Scrubs gained a lot from this.

But with such attention to detail, it may come as a surprise that the TV show’s intro contains an error that should catch the eye of any doctor. Namely, in it we see an inverted X-ray, which bothers a lot of fans. They pointed out this error, thinking that it was the result of someone's mistake.

However, it turns out that it was intended by the creators, and its purpose was to emphasize how tired and overworked the young doctors are. However, they were not deaf to the voices of fans who misunderstood their intentions, and decided to correct this mistake – in their characteristic way.

In Season 5 of the Scrubs they used a new character, Kim Briggs, who came in and corrected a problematic X-ray, saying that “that’s backwards and it's been bothering her for years”. It was a wink to viewers who had felt this way since the production's premiere. It was also a signal that the filmmakers were aware of the error.

In addition, it underscored the role Kim's role was to play in JD's life, shaking him up and bringing about significant changes in him.

So the creators of the Scrubs TV series have consciously used their intro from the beginning to subtly tell a story with its help, which some viewers may have missed by focusing too much on the mistake itself.
