Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time - Short Gameplay and Some Info
During IGN: Summer of Gaming, Soleil presented the gameplay of the upcoming Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. Some information was provided by the creator of the original animated series.
During the second day of IGN: Summer of Gaming, Soleil presented an 8-minute gameplay from Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. New information was shared by the original creator - Genndy Tartakovsky.
From the video we can learn that the plot of the upcoming title will be set after the events of the fifth season of the animated series. We will have to face our nemesis - Aku, and everything will take place in one of the alternative realities from which we will have to escape. The players will have a whole arsenal of weapons known from the series at their disposal. Since the action takes place after the fifth season, Jack will also use firearms. The game will also feature familiar characters, such as Scotsman or Demongo. Many locations will be based on those known from the series, just like our opponents. You can watch the gameplay below.
The exact date is not yet known, but we know that the launch is planned for this summer. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PCs (Windows).
