Rusty's Retirement is a 2D farming simulator, which has beed recently released on Steam. The concept of the production is unique. This is because it occupies only the lower part of the screen and allows us to perform other activities at the same time. From this guide you will find out if the game will also come to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Rusty's Retirement – Console (Xbox, PS4, PS5, Switch) Release Explained

Rusty's Retirement is currently available on PC – you can buy it on Steam. So, it’s the only place where you can play this cute farming simulator, at least for now. At this point, there is no information about potential console ports. If we look at social media (X or Discord for example), we can see that developers from the Mister Morris Games studio are silent about this topic.

So, it's hard to predict if Rusty's Retirement will ever come to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 or PS5. The game has gained a large playerbase on PC. Based on this information, we may say that the developers may decide to port the title to consoles to reach an even larger audience, as many successful titles follow this pattern.

It’s also worth keeping in mind that the previous game from this studio – Haiku the Robot – received a Switch port couple months after a PC release. It means that the chance of Rusty's Retirement coming to the Nintendo’s console seems higher, as creators have some experience with that. However, the question still remains, how the game concept would fare outside PC. So, for the moment, it only remains to wait for official announcements from Mister Morris Games.
