Rumor: Mass Effect Legendary Edition Presentation Next Week
A well-known and proven industry insider has suggested that next week we'll see Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, the remastered version of BioWare's classic SF trilogy, in action.
Rumors surfaced online, suggesting that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, a set of three remastered installments of BioWare's SF action RPG,will finally be unveiled next week . The project was announced in November, last year, but so far only a short teaser was shown, meaning we do not know how the refreshed editions will look like or what improvements they will offer.
The source of these reports is an insider known as Shinobi602. Last Friday, in a thread on ResetEra, in response to one player complaining about the lack of news regarding Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, he reassured the impatient fan by stating that he should be able hold out for one more weekend. This suggests that the game will be shown next week.
Shinobi602 is a proven insider. In the past, he has shared leaks regarding Halo 5: Guardians, Battlefield: Hardline or Quantum Break, among others, which later turned out to be true. Above all, his previous reports on Mass Effect: Legendary Edition have proved true, both in terms of the project's very existence and debunking rumors of false release dates or the trilogy being ported to the Frostbite engine. This definitely makes him a reliable source.
It is worth adding that last month there were reports that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is to be released on March 12, this year. If this release date is true, then Electronic Arts does not make us wait long for the presentation of the project.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Owners of PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will play the game thanks to backwards compatibility.
