RTX 3070 Release Date Confirmed; RTX 3080 Reviews Delayed
Nvidia revealed the release date of the RTX 3070 card, which is said to offer 2080 Ti performance at a lower price. Reviews of the RTX 3080 will come later than planned.

The launch of the Ampere family GPU is just around the corner, so it's not surprising that everyone is waiting for the first benchmarks of RTX 3080. These were supposed to appear today, but Nvidia extended the embargo on reviews by two more days - until September 16. Until then, no benchmarks or performance results can see the light of day. This is mainly due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which results in delivery delays and other problems. For this reason, the reviewers asked the company for extra time for testing.

GeForce RTX 3080 GPU will debut on the market on September 17 this year. It will be equipped with 8704 CUDA cores and 10 GB GDDR6X RAM. The RTX 3070 will have 5888 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDDR6X RAM.
