RTX 3000 GPUs From Asus to Be Up to 25% Cheaper

Asus announces price cuts for its Nvidia GPU models. GPUs from the RTX 3000 family may become cheaper by up to 25% later in the spring. The beginning of price reductions was announced for April 1.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Asus is preparing a 25% price cut on GPUs from the RTX 3000 family.

WindowsCentral reports possible reductions in prices of graphics cards from the RTX 3000 family. Asus models will be cheaper by up to 25%. This is quite a strange assurance at a time when almost all graphics chips are unavailable in stores.

"Consumers should expect a price drop of up to 25 percent on various models during the spring."

The deal is to apply to RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 models, which is basically the complete lineup of Nvidia's Ampere generation (there is no information about chips with "Ti" in the name, but we can guess that they are also included).

A puzzling issue is the start date of these reductions - April 1, 2022, which is April Fool's Day. However, we should have no reason to worry, because Asus would (probably) not joke like this in the current situation. Let's hope that the prices will actually drop. We can already see many signs of gradual improvement of situation on the GPU market.
