RoboCop: Rogue City is an FPS game in which players take on the role of the titular RoboCop, Alex Murphy. The main goal of the game is to perform missions in which you will have to face a large number of thugs lurking in various corners of Detroit. Unfortunately, some tasks, despite being fully completed, do not allow you to push the storyline further. In our guide you will learn how to fix the problem with the message: you cannot leave this area now.
How to fix you cannot leave this area now message?
The message "You cannot leave this area now. Continue with the Main Objective first" most often appears when they want to get to the Old Slaughterhouse. When players get an objective “Drive to the old Slaughterhouse”, and try to get into a car and leave the location, the message keeps appearing on the screen.
Even if you have completed all the tasks, you can still encounter this unpleasant problem. This is a bug that has not yet been patched. At this point, the surest method is to load the save file from the "Ghost House" mission. Admittedly, this will require you to go through some objectives again, although by doing so you should be able to deal with the problem.
For some players, the method with loading the save before the last mission objective also works. It's worth trying this solution, as it's a much smaller chunk of the game to go through again!
