'Finnish STALKER' Drips With Atmosphere; New Video Available
A new video showing behind-the-scenes of work on Road to Vostok, dubbed the „Finnish STALKER”, has hit the web. The main thing that draws attention is the game's atmosphere.
If you like post-apocalyptic games, you've certainly heard of Road to Vostok, an independent game developed by only one person. The production, also dubbed the "Finnish STALKER" has lived to see another video on YouTube (available below), in which the progress of work on it is presented.
A month ago, the creator boasted about realistic weapon sounds and animations. In the latest footage, which is over four minutes long, we also get a glimpse of the sound effects and animations, but also feel the atmosphere of the Finnish-Russian border, where, struggling for survival, it's worth stopping by a fire in a forest camp and listen to the radio, which is somehow still broadcasting.
Recall that Road to Vostok is scheduled to hit PC via Steam, where we can also find the minimum system requirements. The game is expected to be released in 2024 in early access, earlier we should receive demo versions. So far no word has appeared about the full release.
