Short Gameplay From 'Finnish STALKER' Show Night Shootout

The developer of Road to Vostok, the so-called 'Finnish STALKER,' has released the sixth episode of its dev diary, where we can see new gameplay footage. A second version of the game's demo is on the way.

A new episode of the dev diary for the survival post-apocalyptic FPS Road to Vostok has recently appeared. If you are looking forward to the release of this so-called "Finnish STALKER", you may find the material interesting - it presents new fragments of gameplay and mechanics. Perhaps the most interesting moment of the video is the one with the night shootout, in which the player views the world with the help of night vision goggles (from 6:30).

In addition to the aforementioned night battle, the creators of Road to Vostok compared several graphics from the game with their real-world counterparts in the video, demonstrating new locations. A considerable part of the diary is also taken up by a presentation of the operation of various weapons and patrol helicopters controlled by artificial intelligence. The latter "are part of border security and as soon as they spot an intruder, they will relay his location to all nearby guards."

At the time of the publication, the devteam mentioned that they plan to release a second version of the public demo of Road to Vostok within the next month. The update is expected to introduce, among other things, more than 200 new weapon sounds, more equipment and bug fixes. As the update is not part of the previously released roadmap for the game, the developer did not want to reveal more details, but as soon as it is ready, he will let you know about it.

It is worth mentioning that the release of the second demo of Road to Vostok is expected to take place in the third quarter of this year. Some time later, the game's early access will begin. For now on Steam you can play the first demo version of the game.
