45 Minutes of Gameplay From PS5 Exclusive Returnal
An interesting gameplay from Returnal, the PS5 exclusive from Housemarque, has been posted online. It offers gameplay from first 45 minutes of campaign.
- Developer: Housemarque
- Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
- Genre: Action game
- Platform: PS5
- Release Date: April 30, 2021.
Only a little over a week separates us from the release of Returnal, the new shooter from Housemarque. Waiting for the game's release can be made more pleasant by the new extensive gameplay of the project, published by the GrizGaming channel.
The material is a gameplay recording of the first 45 minutes of the story campaign. The whole thing gives a good idea of what the game will offer. We can see, e.g. cut-scenes, exploration and, above all, some combat. The video also shows a large variety of weapons and enemies. It's only a pity that the creator of the gameplay video didn't die even once during the game, because death of the character is to be an integral element of the game, and after each death the world will change. Fortunately, you can see how this aspect of the game looks in action by watching the corresponding video on IGN.
Recall that Returnal is coming exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console. The game will be released on April 30, this year.
We are waiting impatiently for the game's release, because it is one of the first big exclusives for PS5. Sony's newest console has already received many notable items, but the vast majority of them are also available on the older generation. Returnal promises to be a showcase for next-gen capabilities, as it will enable us to play in 4K and 60 fps with ray tracing enabled.
So far, the only major PlayStation 5 exclusive remains Demon's Souls remake. There are also a few smaller items, such as Destruction AllStars and Astro's Playroom, but these are rather modest productions that do not belong in the category of titles that can convince someone to buy a new platform. It's been almost half a year since the PS5's debut on the market, so it's high time we started receiving items designed specifically for Sony's next-gen.
