Want Resident Evil 4 Demo to Last Longer? Here's How to Do It

The Resident Evil 4 remake has already received a handful of mods, including one that enables you to explore the Spanish village from the demo a bit longer.

Remake of Resident Evil 4 will launch in less than two weeks. However, that's still too long for some gamers and fans have already taken to modifying the demo version of RE4.

As is usually the case, the projects available on Nexus Mods are dominated by truly bizarre or funny creations. Quite a few of them are modifications that change Leon's appearance, for example, removing his shirt or adding him a chicken head. Or converting him to a panda model or one that resembles characters from the first PlayStation.

In the category of "cheerful creativity of the Internet" we can also mention a mod turning Leon's gun into a banana and the knife into a spoon. Unfortunately, we got no fork.

However, not all fan creations are just such curiosities. Among the many "wonders" made available on Nexus Mods was one with a very practical effect. Church Bell No More makes it possible for players to play the demo indefinitely.

Of course, modder praydog2 by no means unlocked the entire game in the demo. His work merely ensures that the bell, the sound of which should herald the end of the game, never sounds. This enables us to unhurriedly explore the entire village inhabited by Ganados.

As a bonus, the creator has included optional features. These include infinite ammunition and stamina.

Church Bell No More requires the REFramework tool, as do most other modifications to the demo of Resident Evil 4. The full version of the game will debut on March 24 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
